Aberdeen City Council festive fund

In December 2016 the Fittie Trust was awarded a £150 grant from Aberdeen City Council festive fund to hold a festive coffee morning for Fittie residents and villagers. For this event home bakes – baked by a team of community volunteers – tea and coffee were accompanied by festive music and conversation. As at that time we had no venue to meet inside, we donated £50 to a local church to hold the festive event there. We also used this gathering as an opportunity to share information about the progress of the community hall project and get input and ideas from the community.
