Supported by the Fittie Community Development Trust, a group of village volunteers started the Fittie Gardening Group in 2016 with the aim of planning a sustainable and environment friendly community garden around the Fittie Gospel Hall.
Fittie residents have been informally ‘community gardening’ using 11 large tub planters supplied by Aberdeen City Council and a long stone trough since 2012.
